Okay, enough announcements for now! Let’s get to the real reason I’m here today… Water! We use water for almost every aspect of our daily lives. Even our body is made up of over 50% of water. The real question is how much water are you using and how much are you wasting daily? Climate change is increasingly affecting our access to water in the form of droughts and hydrologic cycle disruptions. One major way to combat this growing shortage is responsibly conserving water usage in your home. You can do this in many ways including taking shorter baths, eliminating or decreasing baths, washing dishes by hand, and using efficient toilets that uses less water per flush.
I challenge you to use the below chart and calculate your personal and household daily water usage, tell me which activity uses the most and least amount of water, which activity would be easiest and most challenging to change first and finally comment what change you plan on starting with first! I’m sure You will be surprised at the results just as I was!
